I am very satisfied with the Yamaha CD-S1000. It's quality from top to bottom. Heavy and solid. My only complaint is that the power cord is very cheap. However, this can easily be retrofitted. The rest of the device is top notch. As for the performance, it's a pleasure to listen to. Shows every nuance of the recorded material. I would like to add that it is just as good as the rest of the components that come with it. Amplifier, connection cable, high-quality speaker cable and speakers complete the package. I was also able to get it at a reduced price, which makes it even more attractive. I highly recommend it. To edit. I've had the device for a few weeks now and it works perfectly. Revain bundles all of the CD series together, which makes the review seem out of place. To update! Bought two years ago and played the second and third system on it. Very easy use. probably no more than 100 hours. Just yesterday the transport didn't load the disk. Tried a few things but it doesn't load. Of course the warranty has expired so I am very disappointed that it lasted so short and with light use. Buyer Warning. I'm lowering my rating for obvious reasons.
