I bought this cable because I was fitting a remote start that required splicing from the OBD2 connector so instead of dealing with the hassle and risk of splicing the car wires, which I chose to connect and then to connect to the OBD2 port. I couldn't find any documentation on which wire colors correspond to which pins, so I cut and tested each one. For those who want to do the same, I found the following: Red = Pin 3, Orange = Pin 4, Yellow = Pin 5, Green = Pin 6, Blue = Pin 7, Gray = Pin 9, White = Pin 10, Pink = Pin 11, light green = pin 12. Black/white = pin 13, brown/white = pin 14, red. /White=Pin 15Purple=Pin 16 I didn't check the other 3 colors/pins because I stopped when I found the right ones, but I hope this helps.
