I live on a hill surrounded by lots of trees. I use this humidifier primarily in my 2000 square foot basement where it can get very humid and muggy when it rains. It sucks because sometimes my family likes to hang out there because that's basically the man cave. My regular humidifier is smaller and powerful enough for some parts of the basement, but not all. The humidifier does its job! It removes all moisture from the air and my family can finally feel comfortable. But due to its size, it is very heavy. BUT! They have 2 large wheels to make them easier to move. It also has 2 car-sized zones to hold onto to help with transportation. The best part is that it automatically detects the desired humidity level and then stops!
