Other reviews amaze me a bit, the extra gauge on the positive is good and also exceeds the requirements. Buy the right size ring terminals, dammit! The purpose of this connector is basically to let your car know what the replacement (white) is doing and so the replacement can read the system voltage and know when to generate more current through the battery cable connected to the same post. (Red) It doesn't require much wiring! The connector is the same as the OEM and works great. For your health.
