I'll tell you the complete truth and how it is. I just purchased a vacuum cleaner that was both innovative and expensive at the time. One of the benefits is that it actually washes with water rather than steam and vacuums at the same time. It's simple to do the laundry. But, there are still drawbacks, one of which is that the plastic covering the roller for wet cleaning sometimes knocks me off and breaks. A puddle and a beard from the wheels that is visible on the laminate at the thresholds and other areas where the vacuum cleaner lingers are still present. The beard does not extend to the walls. The cord truly irritates me because it appears to be everywhere. Additionally, when cleaning, wool and hair are wound on a roller. Then, when washing the carpet, the piles are pulled back in shards, making it challenging to vacuum it back up. Despite all the drawbacks, using a vacuum cleaner to clean rather than a mop is still much more hygienic (even with auto spin). The vacuum was once very innovative, but new models have undoubtedly since come out. Every week I use it, the carpets are thoroughly cleaned.
