Right strength for my Jayco door

I bought this to replace the stock 20lb spring that was on my Jayco. A 20 pound spring would nearly blow the door off its hinges if the handle accidentally slipped out of your hand, and the original spring ended up breaking. I have this 10 lb spring and it opens the door softly but still has decent holding power to keep it open.
