On a flat surface Very difficult to turn on the light when the mug is placed
Most likely they will return it as it is not stable with a heavy ceramic mug on it. I have another one and it works fine in the same spot on my computer so I know the surface is flat! It behaves like something when shorted out. When placed on the circle, it must be turned on and the light must be on. I don't like the idea of turning it on and off because it takes longer to keep heating up every time the cup rises than a constant temperature. I prefer that I turn it off and on, and if I take my cup with me while I do chores and sip, I want it to be high when I get back to the cup place in 5 minutes.
