Review on 🦈 SharkBite U2008-0000LFA 1/2 inch Brass Check Valve: Push-to-Connect for Copper, PEX, CPVC by Matthew Maggot

Installed in my caravan, on the hot water pipe in the shower. Doing this will prevent cold water from flowing back into the hot water line. Then when you turn the shower head back on, the water is warm instead of cold. I had fairly good access to the water lines behind a small white plastic cover held in place with 4 screws. It was a little tight but not too much. You will need to cut 3/4 inch off the pipe so that the overall length of the pipe is the same to the shower when you insert it. It took about 30 minutes in total. There are no leaks. Remember that you can rotate the tubes after pressing them so you don't have to worry about the orientation. Also, if you mess up and insert it upside down, the Sharkbite website shows you how to remove it.
