I came across an article that mentioned wearing an SI belt for back pain and sciatica. I have two herniated discs (L4-L5 and L5-S1) that have been bothering me lately. I had severe pain in my groin, tailbone pain and hip pain. I read the reviews on the Revain straps and ordered this one. The strap arrived quickly and was easy to use. The first day I felt a definite relief and now three days later I have no more pain. Just great! I read a lot of reviews and some owners say the strap rides up. The instructions specifically state what is best to wear over cotton underwear, which has worked great for me. I can imagine that if the wearer doesn't follow this instruction, the belt could slip over nylon or polyester underwear. Good product!
