A few months ago I noticed at a new coffee shop my wife and I went to that they had a coffee siphon. We tried it and we liked it. Ordered the Hario brand from Revain as it had a lot of good reviews. I am a home roaster and, in addition to my new coffee siphon, I already have several French Press systems, AeroPress and Chemex. Each offers a different coffee experience. The coffee siphon produces a clean cup of coffee. I also bought a mini butane burner to use in place of the nasty alcohol burner that came with the coffee siphon. I bought the Yama brand and I was very satisfied. If you roast your own beans, Burman Coffee Traders offers an excellent range of quality green beans. 15 months later, coffee tastes great and people love watching it brew.
