The NEARPOW laptop arrived in good condition, there were no problems. I liked how durable the finish is, as well as the color. On day one it was exactly what I wanted and needed. It probably serves its purpose today as it's a raised hard surface for my laptop with an attached wrist rest. The problems mainly affect the mouse pads on the left and right. They started peeling off relatively soon after purchase, which I pressed down (okay, you stand there.). Now they are mostly off and regularly cover the bottom of my laptop in a sticky substance that I have to scrape off before going somewhere else. As for the exposed sticky surface, we have cats. I'm just trying to keep the computer up to date. Another problem is that the phone and iPad pockets always slide when the table bumps into my leg. This might be a compromise for comfort as it rests on the pillow but I'm wondering if there might be a mechanism that could solve this problem. The buttons that hold the pads to my knees are neither here nor there for me. I don't want the latches to be too stable when moving the table, although I'm sure that could be improved as well. Inspiration for productive work or leisure. It's a waste to replace such a product so quickly for such a stupid reason, especially when it costs that much money. I would like more attention to the design and the materials used. I've spent so much that I'm going to splurge and keep it for myself. You don't want to buy another $50 plastic record with pads that will fall apart again in 2 months.
