We have had several different collars before and none of them pleased us. This one is definitely better than the regular one. What we like is the staged reaction to the bark. With our two barking papillons, we've found that a warning tone is often enough to silence them when they realize what's coming next. In fact, simply putting the collar on—even if it's not on—is often enough to calm them down. The only thing that really bothers me is the weird little battery this device uses. You won't find it in any pet store, let alone anywhere that sells batteries. You have to order them online. But they seem to last a while as long as you remember to pull them halfway out (collar-off method) when not in use. . This company should dominate bark collar sales, but I don't think they're big enough to have that kind of impact. We think the device is great and can only recommend it.
