This is a useful scratching post considering the price. There are more premium trees for a lot of money, but this is better than Armarkat and the like. It was the right height for our needs. There is a decent amount of carpet threads that you will want to trim after assembly. Some staples are exposed on the sisal rope scratching post - this can be a problem if cat claws get caught. Support posts can be thicker in diameter. This creates a slight wobble. For extra support, I inserted a couple of finishing nails through a large tube into the support post at the back. Let's hope this tree will live for some time yet, time will tell.
