My 2018 Tundra 5.7L

Brass external valve thread has to be recut with a large die (M20x1.5) from my large tool box. Otherwise, the brass valve can damage the filter housing if force is applied. Initially I thought the wrong size valve was not packaged properly, but the replacement kit has the same problem until I re-stack it with the correct size. The thread appears to be slightly larger than M20x1.5, since little brass was threaded. That issue aside, it's a very good product and a very good price.

Pros

needs to have the brass drain valve replaced. Installation Instructions: Place the wrench on the filter cover, point to the tabs, and unscrew with either a 27mm socket or 3/8" ratchet. If the cap is too tight, we recommend using only a 27mm socket to avoid breakage.
