Neoteck 2-in-1 room hygrometer/indoor-outdoor thermometer as a well-made tool; However, I am disappointed with the following three observations: 1. The outside temperature sensor seems to read about 3.5°F over the 80-110°F range. (I haven't explored other temperature ranges, so I can't judge accuracy over the full operating range of the unit at -40 to 158°F outside temperature.) The error seems to be a constant 3.5°F over 80 to 110°F- Area. Assortment so easy to match.2. The 1.5 meter cable for the outdoor sensor is relatively short compared to cables from similar devices from other manufacturers, which are typically 6 feet long. I would be happy with at least 6 feet (or 2 meters) of cable, but I can get by with the existing cable.3. As an electrical engineer, I'm concerned that a single AAA battery will offer a relatively short lifespan while powering this device's large (and very legible) display, which is constantly powered. I would be more confident with an AA battery as the power source. The body of the instrument is large enough to hold one AA battery, so Neoteck only needs to enlarge the internal battery compartment to hold an AA battery instead of the included AAA battery. Having not owned the device long enough for the AAA battery to drain, my concerns about longevity may or may not be valid. Despite the above three relatively minor disappointments, I'm generally happy with the device, thanks. Sincerely, AthleticGuyAddendum: I appreciate that the probe is submersible because I use it to measure water temperature. I particularly appreciate how quickly the outside temperature gauge responds to rapid changes in water temperature.

Pros
  • Like everything so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
