Review on 🎾 HEAD i.165 Intelligence Tennis Racquet by Walter Day

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Definitely a game enhancer

I bought this racquet after 6 months of racquetball and loved it because I was sick of college racquets (they were heavy and not good for breaking your wrist nor did they offer maximum control) and I have to say for the price of a racquet, this is definitely a racquet to improve the game. This is a great first racket for those who are playing but determined to improve. It's affordable and has good control and decent power. While the included dampener provides great dampening, it takes away the feel of the racquet and I also find it a little more powerful (as I've played with and without). The racquet itself has decent power but the sweet spot is a bit odd and it's not that easy to reach that potential power and so most of the time your power is just decent not wow. This racquet is EXTREMELY light which I loved (as I've always used the school racquet) and it feels great on the wrists. The turning speed (due to its ease) will also take some time to adjust for most. I've seen other reviews saying it broke in this and that time. Well I've had it for about 4 months now (although it feels like a lot longer) and I've accidentally hit the wall a couple of times and all I have are scrapes, not a broken bat. This is a very durable racket. While not the best racquet, it is definitely a game improving racquet. I just bought a new one as I feel like I need to improve my game a bit and we'll see how it compares (haven't tested it yet).

Pros
  • VIBRATION REDUCTION: Vibration free electrical energy reduces racquet vibration by 20%.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
