This is not a standard kite. It was truly a challenge to build, refine and fly. But the sky is very beautiful. It's actually like flapping wings. If you find it difficult to get this kite off the ground I would try: 1) Tie the tails in loops (one right and one left each) for more stability. Make each loop a different length. 2) Consider making a loop in the cord that runs along the belly to shorten that line a bit. This worked for me! If you want to actively control your kite and find out how to balance it, this kite could be perfect for you.
