I bought this to use with an old IKEA desk. The table has a wood top and metal frame about 1 inch from the edge so attaching it with a C-clamp will not work. I chose this particular model because it offers the option of mounting with a hole through the table and that's why I drilled a hole for the monitor stand. It seems sturdier than the ones I used in my C-Clamp work. My two 24" monitors are now a good height for me, the monitor stand (included) means the monitor screen is level between the two monitors, and my laptop's camera is better suited for video calls. I use a week, it works very stable (according to settings). Cables run through the monitor arms and my desk isn't cluttered. I am using an external keyboard. Wait about an hour to set it up and connect the monitors. Instructions are clear and parts are well labeled, but the time it takes to assemble correctly will save you trouble later.
