Not my favorite Sound and Noise Meter

Picks up noise in the room but not from the neighbor downstairs. I don't fix any noise vibration at all, that's why I bought it. I've been using this product for over a month. It won't work if you want to prove your neighbor is loud.

Sound/Bar/Bar Fun Counter

I installed this counter in my bar/sound room. It doesn't have to be accurate, just a more or less fun way to measure sound levels at karaoke jams and parties. But splurge on what it is, but I like it. It would be nice if it had an average feature that resets every few seconds, but it's still cool.

Warning! Buyer warning!

I bought this to be able to record data and use the data to measure dB over time. This is the ONLY reason I chose this Chinese option. The device arrived a day before the promised delivery (good news). The bad news is that the software CD is blank and there are no downloads on the Sndway website (the downloads page is also blank). I wonder if there is any software, it looked so real in the video.

Readings are unstable, very difficult to understand due to fast updates

The sampling period of sound level measurements is very fast. As a result, the dB readings on the display jump around a bit and are very difficult to understand. I wish there was a setting to shorten the sampling period so the device would say 2-5 seconds on average and display a smoother sequence of dB readings. As it stands, it's not worth the price for my purposes.
