The shade fits perfectly and I had no issues with its comfort. With leather, on the other hand, I had trouble keeping it in place when the headset was properly fitted. If I wasn't careful it would block the light on the headset and it would start to slide. I used a small piece of double sided tape on both sides to hold it in place and it has worked so far. Ultimately, it's not strictly necessary, but I like having leather for added protection.
