The hardware itself is excellent. Software and cloud storage are misleading. This one records in 2k but can't store footage in the cloud at 2k, only 1080. I wanted 2k to see license plates and faces for a better picture if a burglar ever comes to me. With 1080 you can't get the same clarity as you can with 2k or 4k when zooming in on faces. Therefore, it is difficult for police and investigators to recognize the face. You'll need to buy a Micro Ed to take full advantage of the cloud storage, otherwise you're limited to 10-second recordings when motion is detected. The cloud storage contains errors. Sometimes he writes, sometimes not. So if my pets made a mess ten minutes ago, I can't watch the recording until a few hours later, or it just doesn't work and I never get the recording. So that needs to be fixed too. The rest of the hardware is excellent.
