The only feature that justifies a $10 premium over other infrared thermometers is a lie. There is no mention of emissivity or calibration in the one-page guide. The five previous reviews are too superficial to recognize this omission or distinguish this product from the many fakes. I compared the measurements with several other thermometers. Accuracy is around 1 degree: Celsius or Fahrenheit doesn't matter. The fact is that the "Body" mode is useless for diagnosing fever. The F1-F4 mentioned in the description is a silly way of naming the four settings: F/C, beeper on/off, "fever alert threshold" and backlight on/on. off The trigger does not need to be held down; a pressure makes a reading. Other quirks include the fact that Celsius is a native scale. Available Fahrenheit values skip a tenth of a degree here and there to maintain 1:1 conversion. Also, the up arrow is on the left and the down arrow is on the right, which I find unnatural. The ground is also wrong, with or without a battery; See photo.
