Review on 🏠 Enhance Your Home Organization with Winsome Sherlock Storage/Organization in Antique Walnut by Shannon Sims

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful and very durable

This coat rack is more expensive than others at Revain, such as the oak hat stand. But you get what you pay for. Firstly, this hanger is very strong and will not fall down even with uneven loading with multiple heavy coats. It takes quite a bit of material to make a durable mantlewood, which inevitably increases the price, so there you have it. It's also beautifully designed. Of course, there's no arguing about taste, but I think dark surfaces go well with antiques and sleek lines with modern furniture. I wonder how difficult it is to put it together. I didn't think it was that bad. The "trunk" of the tree consists of two parts that are screwed together with a rubber washer in between. Don't forget the rubber washer. The legs are attached with screws. I used an electric screwdriver for this, but there are pre-drilled holes and you can insert them with a regular screwdriver if you have enough functional hands. (If not, get yourself an electric screwdriver already. They're less than $20.) The metal hooks also need to be screwed in, and then there are four wooden caps to hide the screws holding the legs. I found a rubber mallet came in handy to drive them all the way in, but to be honest this thing is just as functional when the wooden plugs aren't all the way down and it's not entirely clear to me how they're actually supposed to go in anyway . . In short, this piece of furniture is decently designed in terms of ease of assembly.
