This item fits perfectly over the pipe and hides the pipe. This is the perfect addition to tank decoration. Easily removable for quick washing and cleaning. It has a light green color that decorates the tank. This is a quick and inexpensive solution to covering up an unsightly pipe. I can fully recommend this product. Remember to order a small ring if you have a baby tank
