I thought the rainbow effect was stationary but it appears and disappears everywhere. I just wanted to put two fans in the front. However, since I had a large window on the side, I decided to replace the rear exhaust fan with a third one without LEDs. Looks better than I could have imagined. My new case had two blue LED front fans. My old case had rainbow lights on the sides, but I couldn't find a case with rainbow lights and a 5.25" drive bay. Replacing two fans with rainbow fans is exactly what I wanted.
