Well. until it breaks.

Bought this item 2 months ago for school (cooking school). I did some research and thought it would be good. and it's been a while I don't know what happened last week but it stopped working. does not accept an exact reading. I've recalibrated it twice and it still doesn't work properly. I had high hopes for this after going through candy making with no problems. Overall a good thermometer until it breaks.
