Very durable. I've had my first thermometer in years and only use this particular thermometer because it lasts so long and it's easy to calibrate unlike most others.

This thermometer broke on first use. made very cheaply. I thought it was the battery so I replaced it but the problem is the battery doesn't make solid contact to ensure functionality.

I had an earlier version of this thermometer. It's accurate and gives a quick reading, and it also has a sensitive tip so you can take the temperature of relatively thin things like baby hamburgers. So I looked for it specifically for my son.

Fast reading is a good description of this thermometer, not instant but very fast. Excellent value for money and the thin probe makes it easy to insert. Thoughtful design with probe cover and strap. Not only do I recommend this item, I bought a second one for a friend!

These thermometers came with "batteries included". However, they were all dead. I ordered three of these and after changing the battery they all turned on and they were within 0.1 degrees of each other so that's pretty good. But order this thermometer with type 357 batteries.

This is very handy as you can get the right angle in the meat without having to worry about reading the numbers from whatever angle.

I did some research and thought it would be good. and it's been a while I don't know what happened last week but it stopped working. does not accept an exact reading. I've recalibrated it twice and it still doesn't work properly. I had high hopes for this after going through candy making with no problems. Overall a good thermometer until it breaks.

This is our second CDN digital thermometer. The first lasted over 8 years with regular use. That has been very good for us. So far the new one works perfectly. I liked the older design better. Small complaint but you can't read the temperature range for meat on a new one as the imprint is tiny. I tried using an old cap but it didn't fit.
