Review on ACR-30 Universal Remote Control for Window Air Conditioners and TV Cable Boxes with LED Display by AnyCommand by Kawaguchi Burgess

Item arrived quickly and in good condition. Looks like a good remote with a good layout. Here are the problems: It doesn't work with my Friedrich air conditioners. AC is a newer model but there was still hope this remote would work as the brand was listed. I did the setup with the codes provided and it didn't work. I followed the further instructions and entered all the codes but it still didn't work. Please note that although several air conditioner brands are listed, this remote control will only work with specific models of air conditioners from those brands. The remote control only accepts the supplied codes (1650 - 1678). Anything outside of this code area seems invalid. For fun I tested this on an older (different model) Friderich AC and encountered the same problem. It did not work. Just to be sure I tested the remote on the Frigidaire AC in my unit and it worked which tells me the remote is good and working. Unfortunately, I do not use this remote control for this specific air conditioner, but only for one of the two Friedrich air conditioners. Another feature was the display. For some reason the temperature kept changing, although the remote control failed to connect to Friedrich AC and was wrong when connecting to Frigidaire. and this feature is most likely not supported by Frigidaire. I guess you could say you distrust her. This may work for some, but definitely not all, and remember that even if your make is listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it will work with your model number. I will return the remote control.
