Great wallet for the price; Minor imperfections

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this wallet. It looks good and seems very durable considering the price. After a couple of weeks I found my cards/ID cards were being bent even though they were all tucked away in a backpack without any pressure. Unfortunately, I already threw away the packaging, so I can't return it. I don't mind leaving my cards in one of the ATMs as this has been a really cheap option from the start. Pros: - Real leather that looks and feels high quality - Leather smells wonderful, especially when you open it - Quality zip and leather zip pull that doesn't get in the way when packing/removing wallet from bag/backpack - I am not a fan of sewing quality but I would call it quality stitching - The packaging was fun. The faux gift box really was a great touch to everything and made for a fun unboxing experience. Cons: - The main problem I have with this wallet is that after only a few weeks of use, all my cards have two folds. One along the magnetic stripe and one along the EMV chip. The problem I have is that I never put pressure on the wallet when not in use. I hate putting ANY wallet in my pockets let alone a thicker wallet like this. Shoppers should be aware that simply storing cards in the card slots of this wallet and then placing them on a counter will result in all your cards and ID getting folded inside. Maybe that's normal with leather wallets? I can't say as this is my first leather wallet in 15 years. The leather trim has come loose in some places on the back where the cards are stored. It's ok - it can be deleted directly from the cards. Could this be normal with leather wallets? - There is excess rubber glue/glue on the back where the money is kept that has not been rubbed off but can be rubbed off easily. - The zipper tends to pinch about 1/. 2 inches to the end where it should be tucked into the spine. This is because the ID flap has a slight bulge at the edge at this point. Knowing this is happening helps to just pull the flash away from the body when I get to that location. It does not cause any serious inconvenience.

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
