this Meraki GR60 product instantly. Connections for 10BT and power are protected by a plastic screw cap. And it doesn't end there. PRO - Runs warm but doesn't overheat (what looks like excessive heat can be an issue as mentioned in my review of a competitor product) - PoE available if needed - Uses an app for configuration and the status is pretty polished, allows for configuration without logging in to the system via a "web interface" (but see AGAINST). The "Contact Support" option is offered in the app in the appropriate "Device cannot be found" context - setting it up is fairly easy. if DHCP is used - the QR code on the product label makes it easy to set up (at least initially). Range to extend about 60 feet (unobstructed) from the access point to the WiFi light source and it was successful. -- There is a spec sheet for the GR60, but since it's HTML and not PDF, the purchase time factor is a concern. . . What speeds are supported? Maybe it's somewhere else in the documentation, but I couldn't find it. CONS - Unclear company and AP "Go" account settings on Meraki.com - Update status (blue status indicator) was quite long, almost an hour - Update status persisted at least 20 minutes after the update completed; Unsubscribing might solve the problem. It's not entirely clear how to set up a separate 2.4GHz subnet (for IoT/Smart devices; devices will adopt the 5GHz band and become unmanaged). The default setting allows connection to smartphones with 5 GHz. is probably an HTTP interface to the device status page, but pointing the web browser to the DHCP-assigned IP address failed, and the option suggested by dashboard.meraki.com prevented the GR-60 from registering. There is probably a solution to this problem, but I've given up. I don't like the access point's floating IP address. TIPS - The P/N on the label does not match any website. Use GR-60 instead. You can take a picture of the label to get the QR code used during the launch. We're giving 5 stars despite these issues because the overall quality presented in the documentation gives a strong impression of continuous improvement.
