Review on Zoom Certified Windows Vista Computer by Kevin Zamora

This modem works exceptionally well if you know what you are doing. Windows 7 and 8 usually recognize the driver, but I go to the Zoom website to make sure I have the latest version. We use them for alarm notifications over analog phone lines. The only drawback (hence the four stars) is the silent voice function. I have activated all settings in Windows, but the ringer volume is still relatively low. If you're in the office this isn't a problem, but if you're in a field with background noise, good luck getting a voice. on the market (even compared to expensive multitech).
