I bought this portable air compressor to carry on my road bike. I've had to fix a tire on the road sometimes and using carbon dioxide cartridges is fine, but you can't get the right amount of air in the tires, you have to find an air compressor somewhere to do the job. This little air compressor is great, I tested it and it really pumps air. It's compact and I carry it in one of my saddlebags for emergencies.
