Review on Houseables Metal Bread Box Butter by Heather Gorman

I'm very happy with the bread bin, butter dish set. Arrived very well packaged! So no damage. The bread bin holds more than 2 loaves of regular sandwich bread or several packs of rolls/buns depending on size, so it's quite large and doesn't take up much space. It is made of metal with an enamel finish and is easy to clean with a damp cloth. There are handles on both sides for easy gripping and two small vents under the handle on the lid. There are no problems with the lid, it fits perfectly on the bread basket. I examined it closely and found no scratches, no chips on the paintwork, no dents if we speak of quality control, everything was perfect. Love the butter dish, but as you can see from the photos, it's not big enough to put a 1lb block of butter in, even after trying to melt it a bit? But 2 sticks fit perfectly. And because it's as metallic as a bread bin, it's said to keep butter fresher for much longer than other containers. The wooden lid matches the bowl perfectly and the two pieces look great together on the countertop. Comes with cleaning instructions. Love it! would recommend.
