These screws compare quite favorably to some others. I used them to screw 2" x 6" rough boards to fence posts. I like rounded heads so the animal can't scratch them. The screws tighten well, although I drill holes in the boards to prevent splitting and allow me to fine tune the position of the board before it becomes immobile. I also drive them in deep enough to countersink the screw heads a bit. This allows me to use a professional saw to cut to length and at the right angle. I'm already on my third box of these screws and will be buying more when they run out!
