I was trying to save money by buying a PWM hub with a Deepcool 10 fan and they sent me a DOA product. Then I ordered Thermaltake and for a few dollars it works perfectly. I appreciate that the SATA connector plugs directly into the fan hub (rather than through another set of poorly wired connectors) and the size of the hub itself seems more robust. It has an LED to let you know the device is powered on (other products do too) and I connected a Noctua low noise adapter in-line with this device to the CPU socket on the motherboard. All fans (3x3pin and 5x4pin) are now controlled via the mainboard and have lower speeds via the adapter. The product was delivered safe and sound, I was happy with that.
