I only got it a few hours ago and so far it's pretty good. I had migraines which I think is related to sinus issues, at the same time my room is hot so I decided to buy this. I've heard that a humidifier helps with sinus problems and so far it's working, plus it keeps me cool as long as I'm within range. I keep it on my computer desk where I usually stay and do business in my room. Your ear starts ringing, which can be annoying. I don't know if it's a defect from what I received or not, but I can deal with it. It's good if I just put it higher so it doesn't bother me too much. Everything else works fine. The hiss isn't too bad, other than the ringing I hear on low settings.
