fairing is strong. The plastic is strong and holds up well. You really have to run him over with a vehicle to break him. Some of the things I didn't like about this product was that it didn't have instructions. That being said, if you have some experience installing fairings it shouldn't take long. If you choose this product, be sure to take a headlight extension cable with you. I bought mine from MoonsMC and it fits PERFECTLY. Another thing, be prepared to connect longer wires to the headlight if they are short. I had to do it for myself but it was painless and quick.
