Disappointed with the accessories

Ok this is my first GPS but overall I wasn't impressed. Good: Works very well with gloves on and bluetooth for headset and phone works. The screen is bright enough when the sun is high in the sky. The display size is suitable for everything except street names under or when the sun is low in the sky. The price is lower than previous generation devices. Pretty quick to route if you turn off advanced features. The bracket also works off-road without any problems. Bad: Unintuitive interface compared to mobile GPS apps. Routing and traffic jam avoidance are not as optimal as Google Maps (side-by-side comparison in several situations). Ugliness: Virtually useless off-road in Utah. Therefore, the saved Gpx tracks float without reference to the terrain. Doesn't help finding a way out of the trails. Bluetooth was interfering with my connection with cardo in combination with sena unita, had to disable bt. With advanced routing features, routing and redirection takes a long time, e.g. B. Minutes. The overall price is disappointing and I would have preferred a larger phone with a GPS app if I was wearing gloves.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • weak
