I used to use multimeters but to be honest I never really knew what I was doing with them. The manual that accompanies this Geekify mockup is very well written and includes helpful examples. (e.g. my flashlight won't turn on or my car battery keeps draining). The manual shows exactly what settings should be made on the device for various purposes (with illustrations)! For a project I was working on recently, I had a lightbulb in a chandelier that wasn't working. Unfortunately for me it wasn't just a lightbulb. Using a Geekify multimeter I was able to do a continuity test and found that one of the wires going to the outlet was broken. After I removed the socket, I saw that the wire in question had simply come loose from the socket. After reconnecting, I ran the continuity test again and voila! Everything is all right again. I've actually spent some time going through some of the examples included in the manual to give me the basics of electrics. I've tested a few batteries, checked a few outlets, and now I'm feeling a little more confident about my next repair adventure. It is also convenient to use as a temperature sensor. You can check air temperature and/or liquid temperature. In general, this is an indispensable tool for any DIY enthusiast.
