I just got a smart home. These are my first lightbulbs. They fit perfectly into my ceiling fan outlets and have a frosted glass dome underneath. So setting each bulb to a different color is a really cool effect. And they work great with Alexa. I have an echo show in the same bedroom as the lightbulbs and I can just say "Alexa turn off the lights" or "Alexa turn the lights purple" and they change. Very cool. Also, the lumens are lower than my previous bulbs, but they don't look dimmer at all. from 2.4. If you choose the Wi-Fi route, make sure it's a 2.4 network.
