I have read the instructions carefully and adjusted the sensitivity to the center to check. First I tried it on myself and the shock was quite painful. put it on my dog It worked fine the first time she barked. But then it started turning off when she moved. My poor dog kept screaming. Luckily I was able to take it off quickly. But I could see the trauma it caused. I bought this to replace a vibrating collar that my dog was starting to ignore. But this item is DEFECTIVE. Read other reviews and stay away. Maybe quality control is poor and 5-10% of marriage. Would you give your dog a chance? This is to prevent them from barking when you are not around.
