Review on 🏑 Greenworks GK0A00 Universal Gutter Kit: Efficient Cleaning Solution in Black and Green by Eric Avina

BIG HELP - almost a great product!

UPDATE 10/28/20: We are now using it with the Ego Battery Blower and it fits even better - no braces needed! However, these are some of the best dollars ever spent on a lawn. ---UPDATE 11/28/18: The whole fall season is over and this kit (with mod, NOTICE REQUIRED) has become our superstar. We have four 75 foot trees on our property and we are surrounded by other properties with the same trees. This creates a lot of dirt and constantly full gutters. Thanks to this device, one of us could blow all the leaves and small branches out of the gutters in just 10 minutes about every five days. Our gutters have never been so clean. So happy! --- It's almost a great product! I've watched these "universal" kits come out. Since we have a Greenworks blower (7A / 160 MPH), we have been waiting for Greenworks to sell a gutter kit under their name, even though the kit costs $10 more than the most popular Revain kits. And we don't regret it! It's well made, fits the unit perfectly, and has already saved us from back pain and gutter cleaning fees. And the last time we did the gutters, it took us exactly ten minutes to do the whole house. You won't be sorry if your gutters are less than 12 feet off the ground either - and you'll make the modification we made. The pieces will stay together perfectly, don't worry. But out of the box, this thing has one major problem. While the adapter fits perfectly, even our little 160-mile fan is so powerful that it blew the adapter off the engine after a few seconds of running, no matter how tight we tightened it. We permanently attached it to the engine, which is a big problem once you have the entire kit assembled and ready to go. We decided it needed "clips" so the second time we used it we used three ball clips to keep it attached. (The adapter has belt loops so it couldn't be easier. See the image we posted.) Yes, that helped! No breakouts all the time. And now it's a great product. Greenworks should look into this matter. With this modification, we would give the item a solid five stars. It takes about three minutes to walk 50 linear feet. (Be smart: Blow dry sheets BEFORE it rains because wet ones don't move. And make sure you have some upper body strength because there's a slight recoil from the Luftwaffe. It's like you're hitting a Holding a fire hose in one hand and a hydrant in another while positioning, but it only takes one try to get the hang of it.) Great! We highly recommend it - with braces of course.
