Topheavy - not very practical
This is a lovely fondue set but a lot less practical than others we've had. The cast iron bowl is perfect for preparing fondue on the stovetop, but simply balances on a wire stand, resulting in an unstable and heavy contraption. Any attempt to scrape the crispy bits off the bottom of the pan flips the apple cart, so to speak. Main reason: the wire stand is too narrow; If it were wider the bowl would sit in the frame and be a lot sturdier.
