I bought these for new earrings I am making for craft shows. I know that many people, like me, are allergic to metals. So I wanted good sterling silver hooks at a great price. These match this account. I usually know within a very short time whether I am going to have an allergic reaction to metal. I had no problems at all. In terms of quality, 2 out of 50 hooks had quality issues. Both had damaged hinges and discolored metal (copper). Previous reviewers have mentioned using a magnet to check silver grades. Mine passed as neither of them were attracted to the magnet. even damaged ones. So take it how you want. lol I will most likely buy again.
