These legs were assembled for a custom table from a 4" x 2" acacia meat block found at a hardware store. All in all these are great legs and work really well for a modern table if you want to move away from chipboard and pre-made designs. We installed the screws after drilling the pilot holes with a 1/16" bit. In hindsight you should have gone for 3/32. All screws were hand tightened with a screwdriver or ratchet with a nozzle. VERY tricky assembly. Attached photos showing how a screw broke completely on the first thread while being screwed in. Suggestion: buy the screws yourself. The tricky screw hole is just under the beveled part of one end on each side. Get creative with this screw! Overall the legs look great Slight horizontal wobble, but don't worry about the table collapsing.
