Works as a splitter. But not as advertised.

I couldn't get any of the energy saving outlets to work, regardless of whether other devices are plugged into the main outlet or not. smoke and mirrors. Works well as an extension cord for 3 outlets. I think you can save energy by using energy saving sockets as they never produce electricity for consumption :-)
