Yes, mandatory for PC motherboards with 2 CPU power connectors, such as B. the MSI X470 Pro Carbon gaming motherboard. Why does it have 2 CPU power connectors? One of them is used to power the processor, the other is needed for other purposes. So far there is no real information for what.
