I needed wire strippers for a small project to redo the lights on holiday inflatables. I had never used a wire stripper before so didn't know where to buy one and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I read the reviews here and bought based on them. While it ended up working for my project, I totally agree with the reviewers who mention the lack of an opening spring. The presence of a spring for opening is a very convenient feature. Unfortunately, this tool doesn't have one... If I ever have a larger project, I'll definitely go with the opening spring.
