As the title says this is one of the cheapest thermal imagers out there at $300 but that doesn't mean it's sloppy. It is very easy to use and accurate. You mention a pause/delay when moving the camera and it says 'CAL' in the bottom left corner. It's a recalibration of the machine so it can accurately show the temperature differences between objects that are currently in the frame. Any thermal imager will do this, but be aware that you're wasting 10% of the price of those that do it in less than a second; However, I can literally wait 3 seconds for the machine to recalibrate and be accurate. Overall I can't find any issues at this price point.
