I put this review aside to see how they hold up as I have had issues with cheaper balls in the past. I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed after almost 2 months. Every string, and I mean every string on every set of balls, came loose or broke. I'm sure there must be some sort of warning in the instructions not to leave them in the sun and bad weather for long periods of time. Although I tuck them away when I see them, we all know what babies are like. The balls themselves are great. The problem seems to be the twine/rope holding them. There's no reason why it shouldn't last a year or more, even with prolonged exposure to the elements. A new colored cord (parachute line) for each set of balls and they are like new and the grandchildren are happy again.
